Sorry I have been missing in action for a while. Life has been more than hectic. Here are thank you goodies for my son's "Going to the Navy" going away party. I coordinated the invites with the favors. I will have to say that these "goodies" took my a long time to make, simply because they are bittersweet. I am proud of our son but sad at the same time. He has less than two weeks before he actually leaves for the military.... :-( I am looking for more party ideas...i am expecting close to 100 people( yes...100 people) at my home in less than two weeks....HELP!!!!!

Sorry friends, I have not posted in sooooooo long, but I have been busy beyond understanding. For starters, my husband and I went on a seven day cruise, my son graduated high school, along with 3 of my nephews and younger cousin...i have gone on a 5 day camping trip, I have had out of town guest for most of the past two months....two of my co-workers lost their mothers...i have planned, prepared for and thrown my daughters sweet sixteen birthday, and blah, blah, blah.....it never ends...but, I HAVE ENJOYED MOST OF IT....I am currently preparing for my sister-in-laws baby shower but I have made time to create...i will be posting some of my latest creations later this evening...sorry again that I have been M.I.A...but hey.....SHE's BACK!

Okay so I went to an all day crop...literally all day, 10a.m-10p.m and one of my fellow scrappers had a few new carts...Elegant Edges and I believe the Springtime or Easter, well none-the-less, she agreed to cut some images for me. I saw this "chocolate" bunny and it so reminded me of when I was a child and my grandma would give all of her grandchildren a "chocolate" bunny for Easter. Sooooo of course I had to make a card out of it. Unfortunately my grandma is no longer here with us so I think I will just keep this card for myself, just as a reminder...

Okay, so i dediced to give digital images a try...I found the site called Mo'digitalpenciltoo.com that has some really cute designs, and with a few Copic markers and some sparkle, VIOLA, this is what I came up with. T.F.L

I recently bought the BEST OF PIXAR cart( which now makes cart #68 for me) and decided to make WALL-E, which I have to admit, it took me almost an hour to create this card but I think it turned out just fabulous...and JACKJACK from the Incredibles, O.M.G, I feel in love with this little guy! For this one I used RockPrincess, I think she turned out real cute and "hip". I believe i cut her at 3.25 inches as with all of the coordinating cuts, i used glossy accents to highlight her glasses, pink glitter paper for the card mat. T.F.L...comments are always welcomed.

So i was having a bit of a crafting brain freeze, so I decided to challege myself to make two cards in less than 30 minutes, using scraps and nothing too elaborate, well, here is what I came up with , using my Gypsy and some scrap paper. T.F.L.

I felt like using my polka dots embossing folders on this one...maybe too many dots? None-the-less, i like the color combo...I used, paperlace for the wording and cuttlebug embossing folders for the background. T.F.L. all comments are welcomed. This is all a crafting learning experience for me!

I was in the mood to make birthday cards...this is what i came up with. T.F.L..

I went to my local Micheal's, and they now carry "Thickers" so of course I had to buy some and then use them! The bottom of the card actually says"lovebirds". It is just hard to see in the photo.

I think this card turned out quite cute...the Monkey actually swings from side to side...simple but cute.
